WR Tre'Von Morgan is latest Michigan State football player to hit transfer portal

Another Michigan State football player plans to continue his college career elsewhere.

Tre'Von Morgan has entered the transfer portal, becoming the 14th member of the program to do so since mid-November.

Morgan, a 6-foot-7 wide receiver, will leave East Lansing after contributing two catches for 46 yards and a touchdown during his tenure with the Spartans, all coming in a Dec. 12 loss to Penn State that turned out to be the final game of Michigan State's season.

Morgan, a redshirt freshman, sat out the 2019 campaign after arriving as a three-star recruit.

His departure comes as head coach Mel Tucker continues to reshape the roster in his first year.
