More transfer news has emerged out of the north end of the Berkowitz Basketball Complex, as junior guard Janai Crooms is departing Michigan State and will enter the transfer portal. Crooms was one of four players who transferred to MSU last season.
Crooms is a native of Cranston, Rhode Island and committed to Ohio State out of high school. She spent two seasons with the Buckeyes, playing in 32 games as a sophomore, and making 10 starts, while averaging 6.8 points per game. As a freshman she played in 29 games and made 19 starts, scoring in double figures 12 times, including the the final eight games of the season.
