Michigan State announced today that Women’s Basketball Head Coach Suzy Merchant would be taking an indefinite leave of absence from the team starting immediately.
This comes following a scary incident in which Merchant fainted on the court a few weeks back. Merchant said she experienced similar conditions during MSU’s past game against Rutgers and stayed in New Jersey after the game for further testing. There is no time table for her return.
