EAST LANSING -- Nick Ward isn't expected to miss an extended period of for what the team is calling a non-severe low ankle sprain suffered on Wednesday night in Michigan State's win over Louisiana-Monroe.
But he did miss 32 minutes of gameplay on Wednesday after suffering the injury. And without him, the rest of the Michigan State frontcourt rotation players -- Kenny Goins, Xavier Tillman, Marcus Bingham and Thomas Kithier -- got what could be some much-needed experience down the road should Ward have to sit due to foul trouble.
"That's real, some big games Nick might be in foul trouble," Tillman said.
