Michigan State Spartans men’s soccer defender Will Perkins was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week after his performances against Wisconsin and Ohio State last week.

Perkins, a sophomore out of Detroit, Michigan and graduate of University of Detroit Jesuit High School, helped guide Michigan State to consecutive wins for the first time this season.
