EAST LANSING — Josiah Scott could have saved a year of eligibility.
He could sit out Michigan State's bowl game, keeping his playing total at four games this season, which is the new NCAA maximum to play before losing a year of eligibility.
But he's not. He's going to play in the Redbox Bowl on Dec. 31 (3 p.m., Fox) against Oregon and play in his fifth game of the year.
