Aaron Henry shed his festive mood and Christmas sunglasses — with green-tinseled trees and a gold star — to get serious for a minute Wednesday.

That has been the reality for Michigan Statebasketball players since returning to campus in the summer. Creating a safe space to minimize COVID-19 risks for a team of 18- to 23-year-olds has kept them away from their families for the majority of the past six months.
