Heading into the 2015-16 college basketball season, the Michigan State Spartans are one of the few favorites to win the national title. Many people have been eager to criticize head coach Tom Izzo in the past few years for his recruiting style. Izzo has tried to steer away from the one-and-dones and it has led him to lose touch with guys like Jahlil Okafor, Jabari Parker and Cliff Alexander, to name a few.
Izzo is an old-fashioned guy who believes that players need at least two or three years in school before turning professional.
