Welles Crowther was a BC Lacrosse player and 1999 honors graduate who was working in the South Tower of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. His whole life he carried a Red Bandana with him everywhere he went.
About ten minutes after United Airlines flight 175 hit the building, “Crowther made his way to the 78th-floor sky lobby, where he encountered a group of survivors, including a badly burned Ling Young, who worked on the 86th floor in New York’s Department of Taxation and Finance.
