East Lansing – Joshua Langford summed things up about as well as anyone could on Saturday night.
“Well, you know, we got a win,” Michigan State’s senior guard said. “So, we can take a deep breath.”
The four-game skid ended at Breslin Center on Saturday with Michigan State beating Nebraska, 66-56. It was the first time the Spartans have won a game since they beat Rutgers at home on Jan. 5.
Of course, in that span of more than a month, Michigan State blew a huge lead at home against Purdue, went on a nearly three-week COVID-19 pause, returned to get blown out in two straight games at Rutgers and Ohio State before showing some life earlier this week in a close loss at Iowa.
