Watts-Jackson thanks fans, U-M Hospital workers

EAST LANSING -- Amid the pain and the medication, lying in a bed at U-M Hospital on Sunday, Jalen Watts-Jackson kept seeing the replay of his legendary play over and over on ESPN and, at one point, said: "Wow, that really happened."

The MSU redshirt freshman safety talked publicly today for the first time since his 38-yard fumble return Saturday resulted in a touchdown as time expired to beat Michigan 27-23, and a fractured and dislocated hip for him. He thanked the fans for their support and well-wishes, and he thanked the people at U-M Hospital for taking care of him.
