The Michigan State Spartans’ hot recruiting month of June continues tonight. Three-star outside linebacker Devin Hightower has committed to MSU.
Hailing from Akron, Ohio, by way of Archbishop Hoban High School, Hightower is listed at 6-feet-two-inches tall and 205 pounds.
Hightower took his official visit to campus this weekend. He is the third verbal commitment of the day for the Spartans, following announcements from three-star cornerback Angelo Grose and three-star defensive end Chris Mayfield. All three players are from Ohio.
Hightower can be considered the first true outside linebacker in MSU’s 2020 class, but that also depends upon whether or not three-star prospect Jeff Pietrowski projects strictly as as a defensive end for the Spartans — which seems like it may be the case.
