Donovan Peoples-Jones is on a touchdown tear for Michigan, while Matt Coghlin just celebrated his first for Michigan State.
Both were good enough to earn Big Ten honors this week.
Peoples-Jones, a sophomore receiver from Detroit Cass Tech, and Coghlin, a sophomore kicker, shared Big Ten special teams player of the week honors, announced Monday.
Peoples-Jones returned a punt 60 yards for a third-quarter touchdown in Saturday's 56-10 demolition of Nebraska — his fourth touchdown in the last seven quarters (and five for the season).
Coghlin, meanwhile, turned a trick play into his first career touchdown in Michigan State's 35-21 victory over Indiana.
