Two-sport standout Adam Berghorst explains why he chose Michigan State University

One of the West Michigan area's most talented and versatile athletes is off the market now that Zeeland East junior Adam Berghorst has verbally committed to play football and baseball at Michigan State University.

Berghorst, who made the announcement on Twitter, is so passionate about both sports that he couldn't image giving one up after high school. Michigan State told him no worries - he could play both. MSU was the only school that offered him scholarships in both sports.

"That has been my goal all along, to play both sports," the 6-foot-6, 250-pound Berghorst said.
