A day after Luke Fickell removed himself from consideration to become Michigan State’s next football coach, Brian Mosallam, a member of the university’s board of trustees, said in a radio interview that the school doesn’t want a “waffling flake who views this as a destination job.”
Mosallam made that remark during an interview on WXYT-FM 97.1 after he was asked whether the search committee made some missteps during the interview process with Fickell, the current coach at Cincinnati.
