Michigan State currently does not have a running back commit yet in their 2019 class, but the Spartans continue to work on several key targets at that position.
One of those is Suwanee (Ga.) North Gwinnett’s Tyler Goodson, who confirmed to Spartan Tailgate’s Sean Scherer that he plans to visit Michigan State this summer. The expectation is for that to be an official visit.
An all-purpose back with speed and pass-catching skill, Goodson rushed for 1,437 yards and 25 touchdowns last fall. He added another 302 yards receiving.
He has not been to MSU before, but has done his research about their style of play.
