Well, for those of you out there who were hoping that Tre Holloman would remove his name from the transfer portal and return to Michigan State, those prayers were dismissed today. The three-year Spartan, former captain, and “Defender of the Logo” has announced he is transferring to North Carolina State. The Wolfpack were one of four destinations previously announced to be on Holloman’s radar along with Baylor, North Carolina, and Villanova.
Tre will be playing for new NC State coach Will Wade, who just led McNeese State to the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament. The word around the internet was that Holloman was searching for a place where he could be the starting point guard.
