Travis Walton releases statement following ESPN allegations

When Outside The Lines released their report on Michigan State last Friday, there were many at the university that were singled out for various reasons. One person, however, received more attention than most.

Travis Walton, who played at MSU for head coach Tom Izzo from 2005-09 and served as a graduate assistant in 2010, was accused of being involved in two separate incidents. The first was an alleged assault against a woman in an East Lansing bar – the second, his involvement in the rape of a woman.

In the OTL report, Walton denied both allegations.
