EAST LANSING — Cassius Winston dribbled atop the key, awaiting Xavier Tillman’s screen. Two defenders converged on Michigan State basketball’s point guard, including Michigan’s Jon Teske.
Tillman slipped between them and cut to the basket. Winston dribbled to his left, then fired a two-handed pass to his wide-open teammate for a two-handed dunk. Teske was too late to recover.
It was an easy basket for Tillman in a second straight strong start for the Spartans’ forward in place of the injured Nick Ward.
