EAST LANSING – It was late. Though not by Tom Izzo’s standard. Still, he’d been in the basketball offices for more than 14 hours when he began flipping through a media guide looking for the roster of his 2014 basketball team.
“I wouldn’t trade this guy, or this guy, or this guy,” he said as he traced a line down the page with his finger, thinking about the kind of team he had that season to the kind of team he has now.
