EAST LANSING — Tom Izzo admitted nothing is normal around Michigan State University right now, nor will it be for a long time. Maybe forever.
His basketball team got back to some semblance of normal Saturday, with a tough loss on the road at rival Michigan. The Spartans now prepare for the tidal wave of emotions of playing their first game at Breslin Center since last Monday’s campus shooting took the lives of three students and injured five others.
Indiana is on the clock Tuesday night (9 p.m., ESPN). But Izzo understands it will hold much more meaning to a community still trying to process that grief and fear and every other feeling imaginable in the wake of the tragedy.
