Expectation is a tricky thing
And it often clouds are view of how things are at any given moment.
On Saturday afternoon at the Breslin Center, Michigan and Michigan State showed why. The Wolverines defeated the Spartans not because MSU played horribly, but because they are — right now — a better team, with more offensive skill, better quickness on the perimeter and more toughness.
That’s a trait we associate with Michigan State, and for good reason.
