EAST LANSING — Michigan State basketball coach Tom Izzo said he’d enjoy Saturday night’s 75-63 win over Michigan like no other. This doesn’t mean it’s his best win. Or his most emotional win. Or his most memorable win.
You can debate those all you’d like. Certainly, the national title he won in 2000 has to top any list.

Saturday night might end up being Izzo’s most meaningful win, considering the context of not only this season, but of how the last three seasons ended, too.
