EAST LANSING -- The loss of starting cornerback Josiah Scott to injury early in fall camp marked the biggest adversity this Michigan State team has faced through the preseason.
But among the rest of the cornerbacks on Michigan State's roster, not a lot has changed in the weeks since then.
"We were already competing, everybody was competing," junior cornerback Josh Butler said. "You just have to step up to play well. Everybody in the room can play. You just have to go out there in practice and in camp."
