It was a very busy week in the football administration building. New head coach Jonathan Smith had a high school recruit or a portal target announcing Michigan State as their next school nearly every day.
It started on Monday with an announcement from Lejond Cavazos. Cavazos is a graduate transfer defensive back who played at Ohio State for two years and then at North Carolina for two. Due to injuries, he only played one game last season, so he technically has two years of eligibilty left.
Also on Monday, the 2025 recruiting class got a bump when Emmett Bork, a tight end from Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, gave his commitment to the Spartans.
