This week in Michigan State recruiting: New QB target has NFL pedigree

As Michigan State continues to add to its 2019 recruiting class, the Spartans are also looking further down the road.

That includes targeting another quarterback for the future.

Max Johnson, a 2020 four-star quarterback from Oconee County High School in Watkinsville, Ga., reported an offer from Michigan State last Friday. He is the son of Brad Johnson, who played quarterback at Florida State before spending 17 seasons in the NFL and winning a Super Bowl with the 2002 Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Very thankful to receive an offer from Michigan State University! @Mansell247 @ChadSimmons_ #GoGreen pic.
