EAST LANSING — Fans jokingly mentioned Michigan State football’s neon green uniforms burned their eyes. The Spartans’ vision, however, is being affected by a different color.
As in pink eye.
Coach Mark Dantonio revealed Tuesday that roommates and freshmen Davion Williams and Julian Barnett both have battled a case of conjunctivitis that has limited them in recent weeks. And in Barnett’s case, Dantonio said that is what has held him back from being more involved in the offense while dealing with the pink eye the past two weeks and missing some practice time.
