Last week was a perfect week in the MSU athletic department. A win for the men’s basketball team, two for the women, and a sweep of Minnesota - including a 9-3 beatdown - for the hockey team. Clearly, the Gods are pleased with Sparta.
In the new rankings the women's basketball team is up to #16, the men's hoops go up one spot to #7, and the hockey team remains at #2.
As far as O’s predictions last week, I got a bullseye on our score in the Rutgers game, having predicted an 81-69 victory; if it were not for some ridiculous late 3s by Derkack, I’d have been even closer on the Rutgers side of the dash.
