due to a death in the defense attorney's family, the preliminary exam in a sex assault case involving former Michigan State basketball star Mateen Cleaves is scheduled to resume Thursday, Dec. 1.
Cleaves, 39, was arraigned in March on multiple felony charges, including counts of unlawful imprisonment and criminal sexual conduct.
