Michigan State football head coach Mark Dantonio took the podium at Spartan Stadium to give some updates on how the team was adjusting to the offseason. It’s been three weeks since the Spartans ended their dismal 2016 campaign in Happy Valley with a 3-9 record, and since have seen their best defensive player, Malik McDowell, declare for the NFL Draft.
As for Dantonio and his staff, no changes will be made and responsibilities will remain the same for everyone. The coaches have been on the road recruiting for the past couple weeks, and Dantonio said that sitting down and evaluating every player individually is the next item on the agenda.
