EAST LANSING, Mich. – For the first time this spring, the Michigan State football team practiced in full pads as the Spartans held a two-and-a-half hour workout inside the Duffy Daugherty Building on Thursday afternoon. It was the team’s fourth spring practice overall and second of the week after taking last week off for spring break.
“It was a very active practice,” said Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio. “I continue to see a lot of retention by our players. I thought we played fast, especially on the defensive side of the ball. We also caught the ball well down the field.
