Darrell Stewart Jr. likes his chances to become Michigan State's starting kick returner.
He's competing against freshmen receivers Hunter Rison and Laress Nelson for the job, but he feels his speed has given him the edge in fall camp.
"The competition is looking nice, really," Stewart said Monday at MSU's media day. "It's really on fire. The return game, it's a couple of guys who are trying to get in there right now.
"I'm definitely taking a shot at it.
