Ann Arbor — Tempers boiled over in the closing seconds of Michigan’s 29-7 victory over Michigan State on Saturday night, and carried over in the Michigan Stadium tunnel.
Video shot by The News’ Matt Charboneau shows several MSU players gathered around and kicking a UM player wearing No. 1 — either wide receiver Andrel Anthony or defensive back Ja'Den McBurrows — who was on the ground.
“We’re not gonna speak on that,” said UM's Blake Corum, who hadn’t seen the video before he arrived at a postgame presser.
This is the second time there’s been a heated incident in the Michigan Stadium tunnel, which both teams use to leave the field.
