• Michigan State will meet the USNTDP U-18 team in an exhibition game on Saturday in Plymouth at USA Hockey Arena … It will mark the first time MSU will take on the USNTDP U-18 team away from Munn.
• The Spartans lead the all-time series, 7-6, and have won each of the last three meetings.
• The Spartans are coming off a series split with Michigan last weekend that included a 5-0 win in the finale on Friday at Munn.
• Head coach Danton Cole served as USNTDP head coach from 2010-2017, while the Spartan roster also features four former USNTDP players in Patrick Khodorenko, Tommy Miller, Ed Minney and Dylan Pavelek.
