CHESTNUT HILL, Massachusetts -
“I liked a lot of the things we did tonight,” said MSU head coach Tom Anastos. “I didn’t like falling behind, but I liked how we came back and gave ourselves a chance.”
The Spartan comeback started 30 seconds after the Eagles’ Alex Tuch made it a 4-1 game just past the 12 minute mark of the third period. JT Stenglein scored his team-leading sixth goal of the season with a rising snap shot from the left circle 30 seconds after Tuch’s tally.
Brennan Sanford made it a 4-3 game 14 seconds later.
