UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — It will rank up there with some of Michigan State’s most improbable victories in the past decade, if not program history.
Injuries had decimated the Spartans’ offense. An offensive line and wide receiver group was relying on any healthy option, and even some that were far from 100 percent healthy. The nation’s No. 1 run defense was skewered in the first half by big plays.
