CHICAGO – Shilique Calhoun stopped the interviewer in his tracks, just like he has so many ball-carriers foolish enough to think they could beat him around Michigan State’s defensive flank.
“I know your question, I know your question,” Calhoun said. “Let me answer it for you.”
The charismatic, fifth-year, All-American defensive end – resplendent in a new black suit accessorized with a kaleidoscopic bowtie – then proceeded to ask and answer the inquiry he diagnosed despite having just the first two or three words with which to work.
