Running back Jeremy Langford is back with the Chicago Bears, though the time off with an injury appears to have cost him his starting job.
Langford played Monday against the Minnesota Vikings after missing four games with a high ankle sprain suffered Sept. 25. While he was out, rookie Jordan Thomas stepped in and has impressed.
Thomas, a fifth-round pick who played his senior season at Indiana, has gone over 100 yards in three of four games. That was highlighted by 153 yards on 26 carries in the Bears' 20-10 win against the Vikings.
Langford, who was listed as questionable earlier in the week, caught one pass for 11 yards in his lone target and did not carry the ball in limited action.
