EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Michigan State football team held its second practice of the spring on Thursday afternoon inside the Duffy Daugherty Football Building.
After a beautiful, sunny day on Tuesday with temperatures in the high-50s to begin spring practice, the Spartans were inside on Thursday as temperatures dropped back to the low-30s and a few inches of snow fell in the East Lansing area.
The Spartans still worked out for more than two hours indoors in helmets, jerseys and shorts.
“There was a lot of retention by our players the first two practices,” said Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio as he recapped the week.
