Michigan (13-3-3, 4-1-1-1) used five consecutive goals, including four in the second period, to erase an early deficit and take command of the game.
Dylan Pavelek scored his first-career goal for MSU (5-15-2, 1-4), while defensemen Carson Gatt and John Draeger both recorded a pair of assists.
“Obviously, we’re disappointed with the results,” said MSU head coach Tom Anastos. “But where we are with our game, we have to build.
