EAST LANSING - The Michigan State hockey team topped the University of Toronto in an exhibition game, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon at Munn Ice Arena. Freshman Mitchell Lewandowski had three assists, while sophomore Patrick Khodorenko had a goal and an assist to lead the Spartans.
“I thought there were a lot of good things out there,” said MSU head coach Danton Cole. “After a week of practice and the Green and White game, to see how we executed today was kind of a test. I thought we did a good job.
