EAST LANSING - Michigan State hockey head coach Danton Cole announced today (June 1) that Mitchell Mattson (F/Grand Rapids, Minn./Sioux Falls Stampede) has signed to join the Spartans for the 2018-19 season. The addition of Mattson brings the total number of incoming Spartans to seven for this upcoming year as he’ll join Dennis Cesana (D/Providence, R.I./Brooks Bandits), Drew DeRidder (G/Fenton, Mich./USNTDP U-18), Adam Goodsir (F/Okemos, Michigan/Tri-City Storm), Wojciech Stachowiak (F/Gdansk, Poland/Central Illinois Flying Aces) and twins Christian (D/Novi, Michigan/Lincoln Stars) and Cole Krygier (D/Novi, Michigan/Lincoln Stars).
