With college football season on the brink of a historic cancellation, Michigan State football moved its scheduled off day from Tuesday to Monday because of the uncertainty of the 2020 season, three people with direct knowledge of the situation told the Free Press.
MSU held a team meeting Sunday night, around the time Big Ten presidents were meeting to discuss whether football in the conference would be played in the fall.
As of Monday morning, players had not been told of any decision to cancel the 2020 season.
