EAST LANSING -- Michigan State opened its season on Nov. 6 with one of the toughest frontcourt matchups in the country in 7-foot Kansas center Udoka Azubuike.
Four games later, the Spartans are facing even more height as they begin perhaps the most difficult stretch of their season.
No. 10 Michigan State (3-1) will face No. 17 UCLA (4-0) on Thanksgiving (10 p.m. ET, FS1) in a semifinal matchup of the Las Vegas Invitational.
Spartans' biggest concern in that matchup is a disparity in size between the two teams' frontcourt, Michigan State coach Tom Izzo said on Monday after practice.
