Sister: MSU hero Watts-Jackson needs surgery on hip

Listen to the memorable MSU radio call during the final play of the stunning 27-23 win at Michigan on Oct. 17, 2015.

A family member tweeted a picture of Michigan State redshirt freshman safety Jalen Watts-Jackson in his bed at U-M Hospital and wrote that he'll have season-ending surgery on a broken hip Monday.

"Broken hip getting surgery in the morning well be on crutches for about 3months will be back next season," Watts-Jackson's sister wrote in a Twitter response to the Lansing State Journal's Eric Lacy.
