Former Michigan State Spartans women’s basketball player Shay Colley is headed to Toyko later this summer. The native of Brampton, Ontario was announced as a member of the Canadian 2020 Tokyo Olympic team yesterday.
Colley was one of the top recruits in the class of 2015, and committed to South Carolina initially. She played in 11 games for the Gamecocks, but transferred to Pittsburg in January of 2016 before arriving in East Lansing in the fall of 2016.
After sitting out a season due to transferring, Colley played at Michigan State through the end of her career.
