Entering week seven of the college football season, this much we know:
Michigan is still searching for its offense. The Wolverines are still searching for an offensive line that can protect their quarterback. Still searching for a running game. Still searching for the right plays. Still searching for consistency. Still searching for a way to beat their rivals. Still trying to figure out what they do best, at least on offense.
Meanwhile, there is no identity crisis at Michigan State. The Spartans know exactly who they are. They are the team that beats Michigan. They’ve done it consistently for the last decade.
