CLARKSTON, Mich. -- On Friday night last week, Rocco Spindler and Garrett Dellinger stood just feet apart on their home turf breathing in the air of victory while participating in separate interviews. Maybe it helped dull the aches and pains lingering from the epic high school football game they each had participated in. Regardless, both were absolutely spent.
"My body is beat up," Spindler said. "Me and Delli, we were both going as hard as we can. We keep motivating each other. It was a battle. It was not easy."
Both Spindler and Dellinger are two-way lineman for the Clarkston football program and they had just beaten a game against rival West Bloomfield, 28-25.
