EAST LANSING – It’s back to downplaying in Ann Arbor. It’s been one long embrace of the MSU-Michigan rivalry in East Lansing since Mark Dantonio arrived.
So a day after Jim Harbaugh and his players stayed low-key on the emotions and ramifications of Saturday’s game between No. 7 MSU (6-0, 2-0 Big Ten) and No. 12 Michigan (5-1, 2-0) at Michigan Stadium, Dantonio and his players said what they usually say: This is big.
Bigger for some than others.
“You know, growing up, it's kind of crazy in this state, especially for my family,” said MSU junior linebacker Riley Bullough, whose grandfather, father, uncle and older brother have preceded him at MSU.
