Flying all around the field on Saturday night against Oregon, middle linebacker Riley Bullough is a big reason the Spartans played well enough to win. Holding the Oregon offense just just three scores — the other coming on a punt return — was a good look for this Michigan State defense and Bullough is reaping the benefits.
Playing one of the most electric offenses in the country cannot be easy for physical, hard-nosed linebackers like Bullough, but he showed flashes of his big brother against the Ducks, recording 14 tackles.

Not only was he named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week, but Bullough is on pace to have a good enough season to put him in contention for Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year.
